You can add a detailed reminder to your order confirmation page to remind gift card purchasers to check their email and click the link to schedule a notification if you have our Gift Card Scheduler app installed.

Here's how:

  1. In your Shopify admin, select Sales Channels > Online Store > Themes
  2. Next to your active theme, click the "Actions" dropdown and then "Edit languages"
    Locate the "Search translations" box (show below) and put your cursor in it
  3. Type "Gift card confirmation by email" in the search box
  4. Under the "Checkout & system / Checkout thank you" header, look for the field "Gift card confirmation by email" and type in a new message.
  5. Click save. This message will now be shown on the order confirmation page is an order includes a gift card.

If you're not sure what to enter here, something like this can be effective: "Be sure to keep an eye on your email for your gift card notification, which will have a handy link to click and enter the lucky recipients email address and we'll take care of sending it directly to them!"

Note that this field does not accept HTML.
